The government of Jammu and Kashmir have launched Berozgar Se Swarojgar Scheme in order to give employment opportunities to the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir and make them self-dependent. This scheme is a part of a 10 point campaign launched by the government. Through this campaign, at least five people in every panchayat will be identified and be provided employment. At least 2 lakh citizens of Jammu and Kashmir will be able to take benefit from the scheme.

Through this scheme, financial assistance and skill development will be provided in order to ensure self-employment opportunities. The main objective of the schemes is to provide employment opportunities to urban and rural citizens through the establishment of self-employment Ventures. In order to create awareness among the youth about this scheme, the government has also started Yogyta se rozgar Mahotsav.
