Haryana Govt. Cashless Payments Measures List 2024

Haryana Cashless Consolidation Portal is now working at Cashless.haryana.gov.in. The state government has launched 8 important measures to enable cashless payments across the state. Haryana Government is making all possible efforts towards “Smart Haryana, Digital Haryana” initiative under Digital India. These include payment for government services, domestic needs like water bill, electricity bill, gas bill, paying merchants through online mode, etc. Here is the complete list of measures taken by the government towards making Smart Haryana.

Haryana is currently ranked No. 2 in India in digital payments (cashless payments). Moreover, it is the first state in the country to achieve its cashless goals in the financial year 2020-21. State government. Also launched various incentive reward schemes in which prizes of Rs 10000, 5000 and 1000 were distributed.

All these steps are making the state cashless which will result in financial inclusion of the people. Here we are providing a list of measures taken by the government. To promote the Digital Haryana initiative and how we can use digital payments for the development of the state.

List of Haryana Govt. Cashless Payment Measures – Digital India

The state government is continuously working on various things to promote cashless transactions in the state. Check out the complete list of cashless payment methods below:-

Digital Haryana Initiative	Description
e-GRAS Portal (egrashry.nic.in)	Now all citizens can pay for 96 government services in 22 categories. Online Government Receipt Accounting System (e-GRAS) is an e-governance initiative of Haryana Government. It is part of the Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS). E-GRAS facilitates collection of tax/non-tax revenue in both online and manual mode.
Cashless Haryana Portal (https://cashlessharyana.gov.in/)	It is a knowledge sharing platform to showcase the progress of the state as compared to the rest of the country.
Atal Seva Kendra – CSC VLEs (csc.digitaljagriti.in)	Atal Seva Kendra (CSC) VLEs are accepting digital payments for government services through AEPS, BHIM App, Bharat QR and e-wallets. This portal is for Digital Financial Transaction Awareness Program through CSCs.
Bharat Bill Pay (BBP) Platform	Now people can pay for their household needs in a cashless manner. They can now pay electricity, water, gas bills online through banking app/wallet on Bharat Bill Pay (BBP) platform.
POS Machines Installed	Point of Sales (PoS) machines have been installed across the state to enable digital payment acceptance through credit and debit cards.
PayGov App	All Haryana state government websites are enabled with online payment modes like Netbanking, BHIM, Credit/Debit Card, PayGov.
Pay Merchants Using BHIM App	Now all citizens are entitled to make payments to over 4.83 lakh merchants using BHIM app.
Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)	Benefits like pension, scholarship, subsidy etc. are now being directly deposited in the bank account of the beneficiaries.

People can pay through cashless mode which will reduce dependence on hard cash but will bring more money to the banks. As the banks get stronger, so will the economy of the state and thus the economy of the whole country.

Where and how to use Smart Haryana Digital Haryana – Cashless Payment

The state government is encouraging people to go for cashless transactions. There are various modes of digital payment like Rupay Card, BHIM App, Bharat Bill Pay, Bharat QR, IMPS and AEPS. People can use all these modes of cashless payment for the following things:-

• Make payments and receive government payments
• Transfer money
• Pay electricity, gas, DTH, mobile and water bills
• Pay school fees
• To buy groceries
• Shop online

Haryana government is providing various incentives to the people using any of these cashless payment methods. In addition, various mobile applications like BHIM App are offering instant cashback to the customers to promote the use of digital payments.
