Haryana Mukhyamantri Bagwani Bima Yojana 2024

In the cabinet meeting held on September 22 by the Chief Minister of Haryana, it has been decided to start the Haryana mukhyamantri bagwani bima yojana. Through this scheme, insurance cover will be provided to the crops of horticulture farmers against losses due to natural calamities such as crop disease, abnormal rainfall, storm, drought, etc. A total of 21 crops of vegetables, fruits and spices will be covered under this scheme.

Farmers will have to pay a premium of ₹ 750 on vegetables and spices and ₹ 1000 on fruit crops to avail Haryana Bagwani Bima Yojana. In lieu of which they will be provided insurance assurance of ₹ 30000 and ₹ 40000. A survey will be conducted by the government to settle insurance claims. Under which there will be four categories of crop loss. Which are 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%.

Haryana Mukhyamantri Bagwani Bima Yojana will also prove effective in increasing the income of the farmers. Apart from this, the income of farmers will also improve through this scheme. Under this scheme, the loss of crop due to natural calamity will be compensated by the government, so that the farmer will be able to do farming with certainty.
