The Mukhyamantri Digital Seva Yojana has been launched by the Government of Rajasthan. Through this scheme, free smartphones will be made available to the women of the state. In which internet service will also be provided for 3 years. This smartphone will be provided to 1 crore 33 lakh women of the state. Women do not need to pay any kind of fee to get the smartphone. The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the women heads of Chiranjeevi families. Mukhyamantri Digital Seva Yojana was announced in the budget speech 2022- 23. This scheme will make digital service accessible to the women of the state. Apart from this, the access of all government schemes will also be ensured to women.

The technical bids received for Mukhyamantri Digital Seva Yojana launched by the state government have been scrutinized on Wednesday. The technical bids for the scheme were submitted by four companies. Out of which three companies participated which are public sector Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Airtel and Reliance Jio. Vodafone, a private company that offered the tender, has not been included. Soon the high level committee will assess the tenders and decide further. Apart from this, officials say that this process will be completed as soon as possible. Under this scheme, the government can get the first batch of smartphones before Diwali.

Free internet connectivity for 3 years with smartphone
It has been decided by the Mukhyamantri of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot to provide smartphones to all the head women of the family associated with Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Yojana. This smartphone will provide employment opportunities to women as well as educate them. Apart from this, women will also be able to become aware. The announcement to launch this scheme was made in the budget 2022. Soon the smartphone will be procured by the department. For which the companies will be selected through the tender process. Under this scheme, the female head of about one crore 33 lakh Chiranjeevi families will be provided smartphones with internet connectivity for 3 years.
This internet connectivity will be provided through Mukhyamantri Digital Seva Yojana. To get the benefit of this scheme, it is mandatory for the beneficiary woman to have Jan Aadhar card. Women will be able to get information related to various beneficial schemes being run for women through smartphones.

Process of making application under Digital Seva Scheme
The state government is going to launch the distribution of phones to 1.35 crore women beneficiaries of the Rajasthan Free Mobile Scheme. For which phones will be distributed after 15 November 2022 by setting up camps in every gram panchayat. On an average 750 to 1200 beneficiaries are women in every village. Rajcomp’s general manager CP Singh has told that these phones belong to Nokia, Samsung and Jio company. Which will be given with 3 years date backup and with 20GB data every month for 3 years. Data will not be recharged in the phone until the beneficiary starts using the phone.
