Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana 2024

Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana has been launched by the Government of Rajasthan. Through this scheme, girls of BPL family, girls of Antyodaya family, girl of Aastha card holder family and financially such families in which there is no earning person and girls of widowed women will be provided assistance for marriage. This financial assistance will range from ₹ 31000 to ₹ 41000. Only two girls from each family are eligible to get the benefit of this scheme. The age of the girl child should be 18 years or above to get the benefit of this scheme. The implementation of this scheme will be reviewed at the district level. A monitoring committee will be constituted under the chairmanship of the District Collector.

This scheme will also prove to be effective in preventing girl marriage as the benefit of this scheme will be provided to only those daughters whose age is 18 years or more. Apart from this, this scheme will also improve the standard of living of the citizens of the state and the citizens of the state will also become strong and self-reliant by the operation of Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana.

Guidelines related to Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana application

The applicant has to submit the application form in the prescribed format.
This application form will be sent to the District Magistrate 1 month before the date of marriage or 6 months after the date of marriage.
The application will be disposed of within a maximum period of 15 days.
If the application is being made by the applicant before marriage.
In this situation, the verification of the application will be confirmed by the District Officer himself.
In case of application after marriage, it is necessary to submit marriage registration certificate.
It is mandatory to submit self attested photocopy of BPL card as proof of applicant being a BPL selected family.
If the applicant belongs to Antyodaya family then it is mandatory to submit the photocopy of Antyodaya card.
In case the applicant is a holder of Aastha Card, it is mandatory to submit a photocopy of Aastha Card.
In urban areas or rural areas, the application will be submitted to the District Magistrate.
The benefit amount will be directly transferred to the applicant’s account.
The District Magistrate will also provide a congratulatory message to the applicant along with a copy of the approval from the Hon’ble Mukhyamantri of Rajasthan.

Review of implementation of Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana

A monitoring committee will be constituted under the chairmanship of the District Collector.
The operation and implementation of the scheme at the district level will be reviewed by this monitoring committee.
The Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad and all development officers will be members of the Panchayat Samiti in the monitoring committee.
The District Magistrate will be the member secretary of the committee.
The meeting of this committee will be held every three months.
The committee will convey its suggestion and requirement to the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.

Eligibility for Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana

The girl should be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
The age of the beneficiary should be 18 years or above.
Only two girls of a family are eligible to get the benefit of this scheme.
The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the Antyodaya family of all classes.
BPL families of all classes are also eligible to get the benefit of this scheme.
Aastha card holder family will also be provided the benefit of this scheme.
Those women whose husband has died and they have not remarried, the daughters of such women are eligible to get the benefit of this scheme.
If the monthly income of the widow woman is ₹ 50000 or less, then the benefit of this scheme will be provided on the marriage of her daughter.
If there is no useful member of the family aged 25 years or more, then in this situation also the benefit of this scheme will be provided.
The benefit of this scheme will be provided to such marriageable girls whose parents have passed away and their caregiver is a widow with protection eligibility.
The benefit of this scheme will be provided to those marriageable girls.
Whose neither parent is alive and the income of any member of the family does not exceed ₹ 50000.

Details of assistance amount payable on marriage to girls above 18 years of age of BPL families of minority.	Financial assistance of ₹ 31000 will be provided to the applicant. If the applicant has passed class X, then additional financial assistance of ₹ 10000 will be provided and if the graduate examination has been passed by the beneficiary, then an additional amount of ₹ 20000 will be provided to the beneficiary.
Under the Sahyog and Uphaar scheme, except SC / ST / Minority BPL families, BPL families, Antyodaya families, Aastha card holder families, financially weak widow women, give assistance on the marriage of girls above 18 years of age. amount details	Financial assistance of ₹ 21000 will be provided to the girl child. On women players’ own marriages	An amount of ₹ 21000 will be given to the girl child. In case of girl passing 10th class, additional incentive amount of ₹ 10000 will be provided and in case of girl passing graduation, additional incentive amount of ₹ 20000 will be provided.
