On the occasion of 5th September 2022 Teacher’s Day, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Dhami Singh ji has announced to start Uttarakhand Mukhyamantri Balshray Yojna during the program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence office. Through this scheme, arrangements will be made by the state government for the school education (from class 1 to 12th) of those children of the state who have been orphaned due to any kind of epidemic, disaster and accident. Along with the arrangement of school education, books, uniforms, shoes, socks, writing and reading material will also be given to these children free of cost.

Now through Uttarakhand Mukhyamantri Balashray Yojana, the children orphaned due to any disaster, epidemic and accident will not be deprived of their schooling. This scheme will promote the education of eligible orphan children in the state and will support the Uttarakhand government in educating them.
