AP Free Laptop Scheme has been announced by the state government to encourage the students for further studies. Under this scheme, beneficiaries will get a free laptop. This scheme is especially for visually challenged students. Those appellants who are studying in professional courses can apply for this scheme. Those who want to grab the benefits have to seek applications for the scheme via online or offline mode. The Department of Welfare of Differently Abled & Senior Citizens, Assistant Directors, and District Managers is going to manage this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for AP Free Laptop Scheme

• Students whose parent’s income is less than Rs. 15000 per month will get Laptop for free
• Students whose parent’s income is between Rs. 15000 to Rs. 20000 per month have to pay half the amount of the laptop
• The Students whose parent’s income is more than Rs. 20000 per month have to pay the full cost.
• Students must study in the professional courses
• Applicant must be a permanent resident of AP state

• Aadhar Card
• Bonafide Certificate from the College/School
• Mobile Number
• Parents Income Certificate
• Passport Size Photograph
• Saderam Certificate

Specification of AP Free Laptop Scheme

• IT is proposed to procure from APTS,200 No’s Laptops @ Rs.30,000/- to the Visually Challenged Students
• Students who are Studying Professional Courses to the tune of Rs. 60,000/-
• It is also proposed to sanction Laptops even to Hearing Challenged –Speech Impaired and Orthopedically Challenged Students.
• The Laptop will be issued to the individual once in a lifetime.

Apply Online For AP Free Laptop Scheme

• Go to the official website of Andhra Pradesh differently-abled and Senior Citizen Assistance Corporation.

• On the home page click “Online Applications” option from mid of the page.

• Click “Click Here to Apply for Differently Abled Scheme”.

• Now Click at “Apply Online” link under “Application for Sanction of Laptops”.

• If you are not registered click “No” option.

• The form will appear on the screen
• Enter the following details

1. Name as in Aadhaar card
2. Aadhar card number
3. Mobile number
4. Email id
5. Create a password
6. Retype the password

• Select the register option
• If you are already registered with site then login with id and password
• Click apply online option and application form will display
• Fill the application form and upload the necessary documents
• Submit the application form after review of the form

Apply Offline For AP Free Laptop Scheme

• Go to the official website of Andhra Pradesh differently-abled and Senior Citizen Assistance Corporation.
• From the home page go to the “schemes & forms” section
• Click the view all option and a new page will appear on the screen
• Search “Sanction of Laptops” option and hit the “read more option
• Click the “download application” option and take a print out of it

• Fill the details ion the form and attach the necessary documents
• Submit the form along with documents to the department.
