Krishi Input Subsidy Scheme has been started by the Government of Bihar to benefit the farmers of the state. Under the Bihar Krishi Input Subsidy Scheme, the farmers of the state whose decisions have been affected by rain and hailstorm or their crops have suffered a lot, those farmers will be provided a maximum Subsidy amount of Rs 13500 per hectare by the government. Aurangabad, Bhagalpur, Buxar, Gaya, Jehanabad, Kaimur, Muzaffarpur, Patna, East Champaran, Samastipur and Vaishali are included under this Krishi Input Subsidy Scheme.

DBT Bihar Krishi Input Subsidy Scheme will be given according to the criteria of assistance under natural calamities notified by the Government of India and local calamities by the State Government. Under this Krishi Input Subsidy Scheme, Rs. 6,800 per hectare (Rs. 6,800 per hectare for rainfed (unirrigated) crop area for farmers who have rainfed (unirrigated) crop area for crop damage caused by floods / excessive rainfall. 13,500 per hectare for irrigated area and Rs 12,200 per hectare for cultivable land where sand/silt deposition is more than 3 inches.

Objective of Krishi Input Subsidy Scheme

Benefits of Bihar Krishi Input Subsidy Scheme

Under this scheme, Rs.6800 per hectare for crop in unirrigated area and Rs.13500 per hectare to the farmer of irrigated area will be given.
For cultivable land where sand / silt deposition is more than 3 inches, subsidy will be given at the rate of Rs.12,200 per hectare.
A farmer can take a Subsidy for a maximum of two hectares.
Under the Bihar Krishi Input Subsidy Scheme, the affected farmer will be given a minimum grant of Rs 1000 in this scheme.
Under the Bihar Krishi Input Subsidy Scheme, the amount of subsidy is given through DBT, in such a situation money will be sent to your account through Aadhaar card only.

After clicking on the option, the next page will open in front of you on the computer screen. On this page you have to fill the farmer registration number. After filling the registration number, you have to click on the search button.
Before proceeding further, they must read all the important instructions given on the same page. After clicking on the search button, the application form will open in front of you on the next page.
You have to fill all the information asked in this application form like Name, Age, Address, Aadhar No., Panchayat, Category of Farmer, DOB, Father’s Name, etc.

In the second part of the form, farmers should fill their land details such as the area of the land (maximum 2 hectares in decimal), type of farmer, and the reason for the loss of the crop.
In the third part of the form, farmers have to fill the cultivable land details in the space provided. After that they have to fill the declaration part and click on “OTP” button.
After this OTP will come on your registered mobile number. You have to fill this OTP in the application form. Farmers now have to select self-declaration form and check whether they have uploaded all required documents or not.
After this you will have to submit your application form online. And then you will get the registration number, you have to keep this number safe.
