In Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has launched “Bihar Mukhyamantri Balika Snatak Protsahan Yojana”. The main objective of implementing this new scheme is to help eliminate the case of girl child mortality and to encourage girl child birth and vaccination in the society. Apart from this, the scheme also aims to end child marriage cases in the society. This will encourage protection of girls from birth to teenage age. Its benefit will be given to two girls within a family.

This scheme is a part of Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana, under this, all those girls who have completed their graduation will get 25 thousand rupees. The main objective of this scheme is to encourage girls towards education so that more and more students get higher education, the budget of Rs 200 crores has also been passed by the government under this scheme. The amount of the scheme will be easily available to the students through DBT in their bank account. On acceptance of the application, the beneficiary will get the information on the mobile. Then after checking from the university, the amount will be sent to the account at the rate of 25 thousand rupees from the beneficiary.

Objective of Mukhyamantri Balika Snatak Protsahan Yojana

• Infant mortality, especially girl child mortality, is reduced.
• No parent has to ensure that their girl does not feel a burden.
• Promotion of acceptance of girl child in society and family.
• To empower women.
• To reduce the weight of girls and reduce malnutrition.
• Girls have to be educated.
• Child marriage has to be stopped.
• It is to increase the sex ratio etc.

Eligibility for Mukhyamantri Balika Snatak Protsahan Yojana

• Only girls from Bihar can be benefited under this scheme.
• Apart from this, only two girls of a family will get the benefit of the scheme.
• Girls of every caste, religion and class will get benefit of the scheme.
• Registration is mandatory to fill the form.
• Use User Id and Password to login.
• If the name of your college is not in the list, then you can contact the registrar of your university and request to add his name.
• Only one application will be filled by a student.

Documents Required for Apply Online

• Photo of Student [ Photo size should be less than 50 KB. (Fixed size: 200 x 230 px) ]
• Signature of Student [ Signature size should be less than 20 KB. (Fixed size: 140 x 60 px) ]
• Aadhaar Card of Student [ Upload only the PDF file of the Black & White Scan document and the file size should be 500 kb or less]
• Residential Certificate [ Only upload PDF file of Black & White Scan document and the size of the file should be 500 kb or less]
• First Page of Bank PassBook [ Upload only the PDF file of the Black & White Scan document and the file size should be 500 kb or less]
• Graduation Certificate / Passing Marksheet [ upload only the PDF file of the Black & White Scan document and the file size should be 500 kb or less]

Application Process for Balika Snatak Protsahan Yojana

If you want to apply online for Mukhyamantri Balika Protsahan Yojana, then you have to follow the steps given below: –

• First of all, you have to visit the official website of e-Kalyan of Bihar government http://edudbt.bih.nic.in/.
• Here you have to click on either Link 1 and Link 2.

• After this, another page will open in front of you. Click on the link पंजीकरण करने के लिए यहां क्लिक करें.

• Now online registration form of Mukhyamantri Balika Protsahan Yojana will open in front of you.

• Fill all the information asked in the form carefully and click on the “Register” button.
• Now your online registration has been completed. After the registration is complete, you will have to login using the user ID and password and complete the further process.

There are two ways to check the application status of CM Girl Graduate Graduate Incentive Scheme: One is the procedure given below for both through Aadhaar card and second through bank account:

• First go to http://164.100.37.26/EDUDBT/ImportantInstructions.aspx.
• After this, click on View Application Status of Student.
• Now you have to enter your Aadhaar number or bank account number and click on the Search button.

Now the registration status will open in front of you. Apart from this, you can also register through the Girls Graduate Incentive Scheme mobile app.
