Delhi Poor Widow Daughter Orphan Girls Marriage Scheme 2024

Under the Delhi Balika Vivah Yojana, financial assistance of ₹ 30000 will be provided by the Delhi Government for the marriage of daughters. This financial assistance will be provided for the marriage of daughters of economically weaker families, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes, minority classes etc.

Under Delhi Poor Widow’s Daughter & Orphan Girls Marriage Scheme, the daughter’s age at the time of marriage should be 18 years or more. To avail this scheme, 60 days before the wedding, the application form has to be submitted to the Department of Women and Child Development’s Distt. Office. The scheme is administered by the Department of Women and Child Development. Earlier, only those families whose annual income was ₹ 60000 or less could avail the benefit of this scheme, but now families with annual income of ₹ 100000 or less will be able to avail the scheme.

• Under the Delhi Poor Widow Daughter and Orphan Girl Scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 30000 will be provided by the government at the time of marriage.

• Residence certificate (ration card or voter ID card to prove that the applicant has been living in Delhi for the last 5 years)
• Birth certificate of girl child
• Self declaration by the applicant regarding his income
• Husband’s death certificate

• Disciplined by the MLA of the area / Parliament or the gazetted officer of the state / central government.

• First of all you will have to go to the department office of the Department of Women and Child Welfare and take the application form from there.
• After taking the application form, you have to fill the application form carefully.
