Haryana Free Laptop Yojana 2024

Under the Haryana Free Laptop Scheme, free laptops will be provided to all those students of Haryana who will get 90% or more marks in the 10th examination. Only the students of Haryana School Education Board can avail this scheme.

Under this scheme, laptop distribution will be done by the Deputy Commissioner. All those students who will appear in the merit list will be provided free laptop by the government. If you also want to take advantage of this scheme, then you have to get more than 90% marks in the board exam. Under the Haryana Free Laptop Yojana, the government will distribute 500 free laptops. Which will be provided to 5 different categories of children. Through these laptops, now children will be able to do their studies easily and will be able to take online classes.

Five categories of Haryana Free Laptop Scheme

• First Category – 100 laptops will be distributed under the first category. Which will come in the top 100 in the entire state. People of all caste, religion will be in this category.
• Second category- 100 laptops will be distributed in the second category as well. These laptops will be provided to the girl students of general category. Who will get maximum marks.
• Third category- 100 laptops will be distributed in the third category. These laptops will be provided to those students who live below poverty line.
• Fourth category- 100 laptops will be distributed in the fourth category as well. These laptops will be provided to the Scheduled Caste students.
• Fifth category- 100 laptops will be distributed in the fifth category as well. Which will be provided to the Scheduled Caste girl students.

Objective of Haryana Free Laptop Scheme

The main objective of Haryana Free Laptop Yojana is to provide free laptops to all the students appearing in the merit list. 500 laptops will be distributed through this scheme. Through laptop, students will be able to do their studies without any hindrance. In the time of Karona era, studies are being done through online classes. Many children are deprived of studies due to lack of laptop or mobile. Now children will be able to study through Haryana Free Laptop Yojana. The second objective of launching this scheme is also to increase the encouragement of children towards studies.

Eligibility for Haryana Free Laptop Scheme

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family should be Rs 2.5 lakh or less.
• Only those students will be able to take advantage of this scheme whose name will appear in the merit list.
