HP Grihini Suvidha Yojana 2024
Himachal Pradesh Grihini Suvidha Yojana has been launched by the Himachal Pradesh government with the objective of providing LPG connection to every household in the state. This scheme has been launched by the Himachal Pradesh government on 26 May 2018. Through this scheme free gas connections will be provided to the citizens living below the poverty line.

Grihini Suvidha Yojana has been started by the Himachal Pradesh Government. Through this scheme, the state government will provide door-to-door free gas connections in the kitchens of the adoptees. One such scheme is also operated by the Central Government, whose name is Ujjwala Yojana. Free gas connections are also made available through the Ujjwala scheme. Through the Himachal Pradesh Grahani Suvidha Yojna, gas connections are provided to those adoptees who are not under the purview of the Ujjwala scheme of the Central Government. With the operation of Grahani Suvidha Yojana, Himachal Pradesh has become the first LPG-free and smoke-free state in the country.
Apart from this, women have also got relief from the diseases caused by smoke. In Himachal Pradesh, 1.36 lakh free domestic connections have been provided at a cost of Rs 21.81 crore under the Ujjwala scheme of the central government. And gas cylinders have been provided to 3.23 lakh adoptees at a cost of Rs 120 crore through the Grahani Suvidha Yojana of Himachal Pradesh Government.
