Jharkhand Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme 2024

Jharkhand Government launched Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme, the basic objective of which is to encourage girl students of the state towards technical and higher education. Under this scheme, girl students from economically weaker sections will be provided incentives especially for courses like Diploma and B.Tech/B.A. The aim of this initiative is to ensure that economic barriers do not stop daughters from poor families from achieving their dreams, and that they too can reach their potential at the highest level. Through this scheme, the government is providing financial assistance to those girl students who are unable to pursue higher education due to financial limitations.

Under the Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme, girl students studying in polytechnic institutions will get a scholarship of Rs 15,000 every year. The benefit of this scheme will be given every year to about 3000 girl students of the state who have passed 10th class for diploma course. Whereas, incentive amount of Rs 30,000 will be given to about 1200 girl students studying B.Tech and BA every year. The benefit of this scheme will be given to the girl students studying in government, private and institutions running on PPP mode in the state of Jharkhand. So that girl students do not have to face financial constraints to study in polytechnic and engineering institutes. This scheme will create a bright future for the girl students. Due to which other girl students will also be encouraged to pursue higher education.

Main Features of Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme

• Provision of incentive amount: 10th class passed girl students enrolled in diploma level course will get an incentive amount of Rs 15,000 per year. Similarly, an incentive amount of Rs 30,000 will be provided every year to girl students studying in B.Tech/B.A course.
• Wide reach: Girl students studying in all the institutions of Jharkhand, government, private, and running on PPP mode, will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.
• Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT): Financial assistance will be sent directly to the bank account of the beneficiary girl students, thereby ensuring transparency and providing immediate benefits to the beneficiaries.
• Assistance for weaker sections of the society: This scheme is especially for those girl students who belong to the economically weaker section, so that they can also fulfill their dreams of higher education.

Jharkhand Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme Eligibility Criteria

• Native: The applicant student must be a native of Jharkhand state.
• Educational Institutions: Girl students studying in government, private and polytechnic institutions running on PPP mode in the state of Jharkhand are eligible for this scheme. Also, engineering institutes offer B.A. And girl students studying B.Tech are also eligible for the scheme.
• Educational Qualification: To enroll in Diploma course, girl students must have passed 10th class. At the same time, for enrollment in engineering course, girl students are required to pass 10th and 12th class.
• Annual Income Limit: The annual income of the family of the applicant student, including all types of income sources, should be up to a maximum of Rs 4 lakh.
• Bank Account and Aadhaar Link: It is necessary for the bank account of the applicant student to be linked to the Aadhaar card, so that direct transfer of financial assistance amount can be ensured through DBT.

Benefits and Features of Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme

• Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme has been launched by Chief Minister Champai Soren on 11 March 2024.
• Through this scheme, girl students of the state will be given the benefit of incentive amount for higher education.
• The benefit of this scheme will be given to girl students enrolled in diploma level courses conducted on government, private and PPD mode in Jharkhand state and pursuing B.Tech/BA courses.
• Through this scheme, girl students who have passed class 10th from the schools of Jharkhand will be given the benefit of incentive amount of Rs 15,000 per year for diploma course.

• On the home page you have to click on the option of Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme.
• As soon as you click, the application form will open in front of you.
• Now you have to enter the information asked in the application form. Like applicant name, address, district, tehsil pin code number, course details etc.
• After entering all the information you will have to upload the required documents.
• Finally you have to click on the submit option.
• As soon as you click, you will receive the application number which you will have to keep safe with you.
