  • The U Rise portal is launched to empower students through practical and technical knowledge in the areas of making familiar to online exams, digital content, digital assessment, digital exam papers, online webinars, internships, e-library, online video contents etc. in their academics.
  • The portal will empower around 20 lakh students of UP state.
  • It will also deliver information regarding career counselling, employment opportunities for the students.
  • The website is developed by Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University.
  • Uttar Pradesh has become the first state to launch this portal and also the first state to implement National Education Policy 2020.

URISE Portal Student Registration/ login online

Below is the complete procedure for online student registration on URISE portal: –

  • First of all, you have to go to the official U Rise portal of UP government https://urise.up.gov.in/.
  • On the homepage, go to the “Register” link on the top right corner of the page and click on the “Student” link.

  • Now the registration form will open in front of you.

  • Students can select the organization, enter enrollment number, date of birth and click on the “Register” button to completely fill the U-Rise portal student registration form.
  • After registration is complete, students can login on the U-Rise portal homepage. For this purpose, applicants have to go to “Login” on urise.up.gov.in homepage and then click on the “Student” link.
  • Accordingly, UP URISE portal student login page will appear as shown below: –

  • Here applicants can enter ID / username, password, text as shown in the image and click on the “Login” button.

Yogi Adityanath has stated that the technology used in U-Rise will stand as an example for other states. The Minister suggested that the serious situation of COVID-19 would have escalated if there was no technology. He also shared that the government has been making the use of technology in order to track fake teachers as well as the source of fake educational and other documents.

It has also been stated that the collaboration of employers, researchers and educationalists in the online portal would prove beneficial for students as they would have access to important information including online exams, digital assessment and exam papers, digital content, webinars, e-library, internships, video content as well as employment. Rs 100 crore has also been provided regarding the Deendayal Upadhyay Quality Improvement Programme. A new academic bank will also be created under the NEP wherein credits will be gained from educational institutes digitally.
