Chhattisgarh state Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai ji on Thursday announced ‘Niyad Nillana Yojana’ (Aapka Achcha Gaon Yojana) for improving the economic condition of the villages in the Naxal affected areas of the state, Bijapur, Sukma, Dantewada and Narayanpur districts and for the development of the areas there. ) has made a big announcement to start. It was told by Chief Minister Sai that an additional budget provision of Rs 20 crore has been kept for your good village scheme. If more budget is required in future for Naxal affected areas, that too will be provided by the state government.

Under the Aapka Achha Gaon Yojana, it is being started for the development of Naxal affected areas of the state. CM Sai told the Assembly that under this scheme, more than 25 basic facilities will be provided in the villages within a radius of five kilometers of the 14 new camps started in Naxal affected areas.
Not only this, the villagers of all these villages should also be provided the benefits of 32 individual schemes of the government. These camps that will be set up will not only be for the police but will also be development camps. Under this scheme, the facilities available to the beneficiaries of PM Janman Yojana will also be provided for the welfare of the people and backward tribes living within 5 km area of the villages where camps will be set up.

Main objectives of Niyya Nellanar Scheme

  • Infrastructure Development: To develop more than 25 basic facilities like roads, electricity, water, sanitation, education and health in villages. Emphasis will be laid on providing sports grounds, free electricity, bank sakhi, mobile tower and ATM facilities in every village.
  • Economic empowerment: Making villagers self-reliant by promoting agriculture, animal husbandry, small scale industries and other livelihood activities.
  • Social development: To improve the standard of living of villagers through education, health and social security schemes. Under this scheme, the residents of these villages will also be given benefits of 32 individual government schemes.

Benefits and Features of Niyya Nellanar Scheme (Your Good Village Scheme)

  • Naxal affected areas will be developed under Aapka Achcha Gaon Yojana.
  • The special backward tribes living in the villages of Naxal affected areas of the state will be provided the benefits of all the schemes run under the government.
  • Housing facilities will be provided to the people under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
  • Schools, banks, health centres, Anganwadi centers will be opened in all the villages.
  • Facilities like bore well facility, solar pump etc. will be provided to the farmers.
  • All villages will be connected by all-weather roads.
  • Under the Niyad Nellanar Scheme, applications will be received by organizing public convenience camps in the villages and their problems will be resolved on the spot.
  • For security arrangements in Naxal affected areas, 14 new camps will be opened near the villages.
  • The villagers of these villages will be provided the benefits of 32 individual schemes of the government.

Target to connect villages with all-weather roads under Niyad Nellanar Scheme

Under the Niyad Nellanar Scheme, the special backward tribes of the villages of Naxal affected area will get the facility of living under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and all the government facilities run by the government like – free ration given under the ration card, including rice, gram, salt, Under the Jaggery, Sugar and Ujjwala Scheme, four free gas cylinders, Anganwadi facilities, community hall, health centre, primary school, bore wells for farmers, irrigation pumps, hand pumps in villages, playgrounds in every village, free electricity, Mobile tower facility, bank facility, ATM facility, skill development, bus facility to block headquarters etc. will be provided.
Under the Niyaad Nellanar Scheme, the State Government has also set a target of connecting the villages with all-weather roads. Apart from this, Chief Minister Saiji told that for the implementation of the scheme, applications will be received by setting up camps to provide public facilities in these villages and their problems will be resolved there.
