Chhattisgarh Sanchar Kranti Yojana 2024

Sanchar Kranti Yojana has been launched by the Government of Chhattisgarh to provide benefits of facilities provided through digital medium to the citizens of the state. Under this scheme, smartphones will be distributed to the citizens of rural and urban poor families of the state. So that the citizens of the state can also be connected through digital medium. Free smartphones will be given to the beneficiaries under the Sanchar Kranti Yojana by the Government of Chhattisgarh.

Sanchar Kranti Yojana has been launched by the Government of Chhattisgarh to provide free smartphones to the citizens of the state. This scheme has been specially launched to promote mobile connectivity. Under the Sanchar Kranti Yojana, free smartphones will be provided to about 50 lakh citizens by the state government. The program will also be organized by the government to provide smartphones. So far, smartphones have been distributed to 5 lakh youth of the state under Sanchar Kranti Yojana by the state government. Apart from this, 45 lakh women have been provided with smartphones.

The scheme has been divided into two phases for smooth operation of the scheme in the state. Rural households with a population of more than 1000 and all villages with a population of less than 1000 in Chhattisgarh where the amount of mobile coverage is very low. Smartphones will be provided free of cost by the government to all those rural and urban poor families and college youths.

Objective of Chhattisgarh Sanchar Kranti Yojana

The main objective of launching the Sanchar Kranti Yojana by the Government of Chhattisgarh is to provide mobile connectivity in all the areas of the state where the amount of mobile coverage is very less. Through this scheme, free smartphones will be distributed to citizens of both rural and urban areas of the state to connect them with the digital process. For the smooth implementation of the Sanchar Kranti Yojana, around 500 telecom towers will be developed by the state government in the surrounding areas. So that all the citizens of the state can get mobile connectivity.

Citizens will be able to connect to digital payment and banking services by getting mobile under this scheme. Will be able to easily get the benefits of various schemes by the Central Government and the State Government. The Government of Chhattisgarh aims to provide online services to the citizens of the state.

Implementation of Sanchar Kranti Yojana

• The implementation of Sanchar Kranti Yojana will be done by Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society Agency.
• Under this scheme, the distribution of mobile phones to the eligible citizens will be done by the District Collector through Panchayat Bhavan, his shop or other places.
• The time when the smartphones will be distributed will be decided by the District Collector.
• Beneficiaries will be selected by Panchayat or Rural Development Department in rural areas under Sanchar Kranti Yojana.
• In urban areas, the beneficiaries will be selected by the Urban Administration Department.
• Under the Sanchar Kranti Yojana, the youth of the college will be selected by the Higher Education Department.
• Under this scheme, the list of beneficiaries will be made available on the official website.
