It has been decided by the Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren to relaunch the Jharkhand Old Pension Scheme. The old pension scheme was discontinued by the government on 1 April 2004 and was replaced by the national pension system. Under the Jharkhand Old Pension Scheme, pension will be provided to the government employees under the old pension scheme. This scheme is a big step in the interest of the employees. The decision to restore this pension again was taken by the Chief Minister in the Pension Jaighosh Maha Sammelan.
