MP Prasuti Sahayata Yojana 2024

Maternity Assistance Scheme has been started by the state government on 1st April 2018 to provide financial assistance to the economically weaker and working class pregnant women of Madhya Pradesh. Under Prasuti Sahayata Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 16000 will be provided by the government to pregnant women of labor families who come below the poverty line in Madhya Pradesh to strengthen them financially during pregnancy and to live well.

Under this scheme, half 50% of their salary will be provided to labor women in the last 3 months of pregnancy as benefit. After this, an amount of 1000 thousand rupees will be provided to the women workers after the delivery to meet the expenses incurred during the medical treatment. Apart from this, Madhya Pradesh Government is also providing 15 days paternity delivery benefit to the husband of the female worker taking the benefit of Maternity Scheme.

Madhya Pradesh Maternity Assistance Scheme Registration

Desirous pregnant women of Madhya Pradesh who want to get financial assistance from the government to meet their health-related needs at the time of their pregnancy, then they will have to get themselves registered under the Madhya Pradesh Maternity Assistance Scheme, only then they will get the benefit of this scheme. . An amount of Rs 16000 given under Prasuti Sahayata Yojana will be provided to pregnant women in two installments. The first installment of Rs 4000 thousand will be available during pregnancy till the last trimester by the doctor or ANM after 4 checks of delivery and the second installment of Rs 12 thousand after delivery in a government hospital and institutional birth of the newborn. After registering and getting HBV vaccination to the baby (Zero Dose, VCG, OPD and HBV Vaccination).

As you people know that labor women of unorganized sectors who are living below poverty line by doing wages and labor women are not able to do wages during pregnancy due to which they do not get wages. In view of all these problems, the state government has started Madhya Pradesh Maternity Assistance Scheme under this scheme. Providing financial assistance of Rs 16000 by the state government. How to apply for Maternity Assistance Scheme?

• Interested pregnant women of the state who want to apply under Prasuti Sahayata Yojana, then they can apply by visiting their nearest Public Health Center and Family Welfare Department.
• There you have to get the application form. After this, all the information asked in the application form like name, address, aadhaar number, date of pregnancy etc. will have to be filled.
• After filling the application form, attach all your documents with the application form and submit the same from where you have received the application form.
• For making the payment, the beneficiary will have to submit only the copy of Maternity and Child Protection Card filled and verified by ANM / doctor and the documents mentioned in clause 7.
• The applicant has to apply 6 weeks before the date of delivery. If for any reason the application could not be made on time. So you can apply before delivery or immediately after delivery.
