Himachal Pradesh Balika Janam Uphar Yojana has been decided. This scheme has been announced on 4 September 2021. Under the Himachal Pradesh Balika Janam Uphaar Yojana, the facility of FDR of Rs 51,000 has been provided to a girl child on her birth. All eligible citizens of the state can take advantage of this scheme. To take advantage of the scheme, candidates have to complete the application process.

The State Government has decided to start the Balika Janam Uphar Yojana. Under this scheme, an FDR of Rs 51,000 will be made on the birth of a daughter in the house of any worker of the state. Under this scheme, the benefit of the scheme will be given only on the birth of two daughters of a family. All eligible and interested citizens of the state can apply online for Balika Janam Uphaar Yojana. However, till now the application process or official website for this scheme has not been launched.

The main objective of starting this scheme is to remove the negative thinking about the girl child. Through this scheme, on the birth of a girl child, FD of ₹ 51000 will be given by the government. This amount can also be used for the education of the girl child. Apart from this, this scheme will also prove effective in improving the standard of living of the girl child. Through the Himachal Pradesh Balika Janam Uphar Yojana, equality will also arise in the society regarding daughter and son. Apart from this, this scheme will also prove beneficial in improving the economic condition of the family.

Benefits and Features of Himachal Pradesh Balika Janam Uphar Yojana

Himachal Pradesh Girl Child Gift Scheme has been started by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur.
Through this scheme, an FDR of ₹ 51000 will be made on the birth of a girl child.
The benefit of this scheme can be availed only by a maximum of two girls of a family.
Apart from this, those children of the state who are specially abled and mentally retarded will be provided financial assistance of ₹ 20000 per year under the Child Welfare Scheme.
This financial assistance will be provided to them only if they are 50% or more disabled.
To take advantage of this scheme, it is mandatory to register the girl child.
