Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has given a big Diwali gift to the students of the state, for which he has announced the launch of a new scheme on November 5, 2023 to improve the access of students to remote schools. Whose name is Haryana Chatra Parivahan Suraksha Scheme. Through this scheme, students will be provided the benefit of free bus service. This will make it easier for students to reach remote schools without any problem. Also, by providing free bus facility to the students, the problem of not reaching school on time will be solved.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, while addressing a public dialogue program in Ratangarh village on 5 November 2023, has announced the launch of Chatra Parivahan Suraksha Scheme. Through this scheme, if there are more than 50 students in the village, free bus service will be provided to the students to go to far away schools. Under the Student Safety Transport Scheme, mini bus facility will be provided by the State Government in villages where there are 30 to 40 students and by the Education Department in villages where there are 5 to 10 students. This scheme will be launched by the Chief Minister on Monday in Ratangarh village of Karnal. After successful implementation in Karnal, the scheme will be expanded to the entire state. So that more and more students can get the benefit of this scheme.

Objective of Chhatra Parivahan Suraksha Yojana

The main objective of starting the Chatra Parivahan Suraksha Scheme by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is to provide free transport service to the students coming from villages to remote schools. So that the students studying in government schools can get convenience in commuting to school. Because students from remote villages have to face various problems while traveling to school, due to which they sometimes leave their studies midway. But now through this scheme, a large number of school going students in Haryana will get the benefit of free transport facility. So that he will be able to continue his studies without any financial problem. Besides, there will be growth in the field of education in the state also.

The scheme will be implemented in Karnal district in the first phase.

Haryana Chatra Parivahan Suraksha Scheme will be implemented in Ratangarh village of Karnal district in the first phase. After successful implementation of the scheme, the Student Transport Safety Scheme will be implemented in other districts of the state also. Under this scheme, buses will be operated by the Roadways Department which will be parked in the village at 7 am to take students to school and bring them back home. Transport facilities to the students will be provided by the Education Department. For which the transportation expenditure will be done through the District Education Department. With the implementation of this scheme, the number of students in government schools will increase.

Through Haryana Chhatra Parivahan Suraksha Yojana, access of students to remote schools will be improved.
Through this scheme, students studying in government schools will be provided free transportation facilities.

Eligibility for Chhatra Parivahan Suraksha Yojana

To avail the benefit of Student Security Transport Scheme, the applicant student must be a native of Haryana state.
Under this scheme, only students of government schools of the state will be eligible to apply.
Only those students who come from remote villages to study in schools will get the benefit of free transport.
Students of all income, caste groups will be eligible for this scheme.
