Mukhyamantri Udiyamaan Khiladi Unnayan Yojana 2023
In Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami has launched the Chief Minister Udyaman Khiladi Unnayan Yojana on the occasion of National Sports Day on 29 August 2022 in Dehradun. Under this scheme, a sports scholarship of Rs 1500 per month will be given to the budding sportspersons between the age group of 8 to 14 years. For giving scholarship, 3900 talented students have been selected in the state. In which 150 boys and 150 girls from each district of the state have been selected and included. Overall, under this scheme, the government will encourage sports scholarship to 1950 boys and 1950 girls every year to promote sports talent.

While launching this scheme, the Chief Minister has said that there could not have been a better day than the birth of Major Dhyan Chand to start “Mukhymantri Udayman Khiladi Unnayan Yojana”. He said that Major Dhyan Chand had given recognition to India in the world of sports at a time when the sports infrastructure in India was not so developed and facilities to the players were also in name.

300 players were benefited under the scheme in Uttarkashi district of the state
In Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, Mukhyamantri Udiyamaan Khiladi Unnayan Yojana has been launched at district level by Gangotri MLA Suresh Chauhan and District Officer Abhishek Ruhela. In Uttarkashi district, on the occasion of National Sports Day and the birthday of Major Dhyanchand, in a program organized in the district auditorium, the MLA and the district officer distributed checks to 150 boys and 150 girls in the age group of 8 to 14 years under this scheme. These checks are for 3 months incentive amount of ₹ 4500. The benefit of this scheme will be given to the poor students living in rural areas of the state. Due to which their sports talent will shine and shine well at the state level.
Purpose of Mukhyamantri Udiyamaan Khiladi Unnayan Yojana
The main objective of starting CM Udiyamaan Khiladi Unnayan Yojana is to promote the sports talent of child players in Uttarakhand. Under this scheme, 3900 budding sportspersons of 8 to 14 years of the state will be encouraged by giving a scholarship of 1500 rupees every month. These 3900 players will be selected from all the districts of the state, in which 150 boys and 150 girls will be selected from each district. The hidden child sports talents of the state can be nurtured through Mukhyamantri Udiyamaan Khiladi Unnayan Yojana. This will pave the way for the bright future of child players. Apart from this, other children of the state will also get inspired by this scheme and join the sports field. Due to which sports will get a big boost in the state.

Benefits and Features of Mukhymantri Udayman Khiladi Unnayan Yojana
- On the occasion of National Sports Day, 29 August 2022 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Khiladi Udyaman Unnayan Yojana has been launched by Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami.
