Rajasthan Gargi Puraskar 2023

The process of Gargi Award application is being done online. Under this scheme, the state government is going to start online portal for online application. Under this scheme, after a few days, the girl students of Rajasthan will not need to apply offline to get the award, now students will be able to apply online through the official website sitting at home and take advantage of this scheme online.

Under this scheme, the girl students of the state who pass in the 10th class examination at the secondary level with 75% marks or more and after taking admission in the next class, they will be given 3000 rupees as prize money by the state government. 5000 rupees will be given as prize money to the students who will get 75% marks in the 12th examination. To take advantage of the prize money, it is necessary to take admission in class 11th and 12th. If a girl student does not take admission in 11th class after 10th class, then she will not get the benefit of this scheme.

Gargi Award Application Process Begins

As you all know, every year the incentive amount under Gargi Puraskar is transferred to the account of the beneficiaries. This time also the amount of incentive award will be transferred to the girl child’s account by the Girl Child Education Foundation. Gargi Puraskar applications have been started by the government to promote education. Application under this scheme can be made from any cyber cafe or e-mitra kiosk. Apart from this, application can also be made from the official website of Shala Darpan Rajasthan.

• Under Rajasthan Gargi Puraskar Yojana, students are applying themselves to get the amount of first and second installment. All those students who have secured more than 75% marks in class X and XII education can apply for this award.
• Under this scheme, awards are given every year on the day of Basant Panchami. The process of applying online under this scheme has been started from December 15, 2023. After applying online, it is mandatory to submit the hard copy of the online print to the office.
• Under the Gargi Award scheme, the award is given at the district headquarters and at the Panchayat Samiti level.

Purpose of Rajasthan Gargi Puraskar Scheme

As you know that there are many such girl students in the state who are not able to study much due to financially weak and there are many such people who discriminate between boys and girls and do not teach much to girls. In view of the problem, the state government had started the Rajasthan Gargi Award Scheme in view of the discrimination of the people towards girls. The main objective of this scheme is to promote the education of Rajasthan girls and make them self-reliant and empowered. Benefits of Gargi Puraskar Scheme

• The benefit of this scheme will be given to the girls studying in 10th and 12th class in Rajasthan Education Board.
• A sum of Rs 3000 will be provided to the girls of Rajasthan who get 75% or more marks in 10th class and Rs 5000 will be given to girls who get 75% marks or more in 12th class examination.

Some important instructions related to online application

• The application form will contain complete details related to the girl child such as from where she studied or is currently studying.
• The details of the bank account of the girl child will also appear in the application form and a soft copy of the canceled cheque/or the first page of the bank passbook will have to be attached. Whose size should be less than 100 KV and they should be in JPG or PNG format.
• It is mandatory to have a bank account in the name of the girl child.

Gargi Award Selection Process

Senior Class

• As you all know, girls are encouraged by the Girl Child Education Foundation to get good marks in their board exams.
• This incentive is provided through Gargi Awards.
• Gargi Puraskar is given under senior and junior category.
• For Gargi Puraskar Senior Category, girl students who have secured 75% or more marks in the entrance examination will be eligible for this award.
• The list of all such girl students who have secured 75% or more marks in their board examination is called from the Board of Secondary Education.
• This list is sent to the Girl Child Education Foundation.
• After this, the amount of this incentive is distributed to the girls every year on the day of Basant Panchami through the District Education Officer of the district.
• The place of distribution of prizes is identified by the department.
• After this, the concerned District Education Officer provides the information of the place to the eligible girl students.
• A form is also filled from the girl student, which the girl students have to get certified by the principal of their school and submit it to the District Education Officer.
• The eligibility for the award is certified through this form.
• Under this award, the incentive amount is provided in installments.
• The first installment will be given to those girl students who have secured 75% marks or above in the entrance exam and continue their education in the next session.
• All those students who are studying in Junior Upadhyay are paid the second installment but those girls who do not continue their education will not be given this award.

Junior class

• Gargi Puraskar Junior category eligible will be a student of the eighth board examination conducted by the Department of Sanskrit Education.
• This award will be given only to the girl student who secures good marks at Panchayat Samiti level and District Headquarter level.
• The names of the students will be sent to the Girl Child Education Foundation by the concerned Divisional Sanskrit Education Officer.
• After this, testing will be done by the Girl Child Education Foundation and the girl students will be identified.
• After this, the list of girl students identified by the Girl Child Education Foundation and the prize money will be sent to the District Education Officer.
• The District Education Officer will distribute this amount to the eligible girl students.
• The incentive amount of Gargi Puraskar Junior category will be given to only those girl students who are studying in class 9. If they are studying in class 9, the amount of first installment will be given to the students.
• If the girl student continues to study regularly even in class 10, then she will be given the amount of the second installment.
• If the eligible girl student does not continue her education, she will not be awarded the award.
• The student of junior and senior category will have to take a certificate from the head of the institution to prove her studies.
