Bihar Parvarish Yojana 2024

Parvarish Yojana has been started by the government. Through this scheme, benefits will be given to orphans and destitute children, children of parents suffering from HIV, AIDS or children of parents suffering from leprosy and children of parents suffering from chronic disease. Under Bihar Parvarish Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 1000 will be provided every month to the beneficiary children. This financial assistance amount will be given by the government to the parents or guardian of those children for the care of the child. The amount of financial assistance provided by the government will be sent to the account opened with the guardian of children aged 0 to 18 years.

Under this scheme, the state government will provide grant amount to the beneficiary children until the children attain the age of 18 years. Children above 18 years of age will not be included under this scheme. This scheme is operated by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Bihar. To avail benefits under this scheme, one has to apply through offline process.

Objective of Bihar Parvarish Yojana

The main objective of starting Bihar Parvarish Yojana by the Government of Bihar is to provide better upbringing and security to the destitute, orphans, children of parents suffering from HIV, AIDS or children of parents suffering from leprosy etc. of the state. To provide assistance. So that the children can be taken good care of by getting the benefit of financial assistance.

Benefits of parenting plan

• Those whose parents have died due to death will be given benefits.
• Orphans and destitute children and orphans living with close relatives will be given benefits.
• Benefits will be given to children whose parents are confined to Karva or are suffering from chronic disease.
• Children who are suffering from HIV AIDS or leprosy will be given benefits.
• Benefits will be given to destitute children and those who live with their parents.
• Under this scheme, if the parents of the children are mentally handicapped and are not capable of raising the children, they will be given benefits under this scheme.

Eligibility for Bihar Parvarish Yojana

• Must be a native of Bihar state.
• Children below 18 years of age will be given the benefit of this scheme.
• Orphans and destitute children will be given the benefit of this scheme.
• The foster family should be BPL and Act listed and annual income should be less than Rs 60,000.
• To avail the benefits of this scheme, children must be below 18 years of age.
• Children will be provided benefits if they live with close relatives.

Who will get benefits under Bihar Parvarish Yojana?

The following children have been included under Bihar Parvarish Yojana who will be given the benefits of this scheme. Which is as follows.

• Orphans and destitute children or orphans who live with their close relatives.
• Children whose parents are in prison. Children suffering from chronic disease (HIV/AIDS/Leprosy Grade-2)
• Whose parents have died due to Covid-19.
• Children who are suffering from HIV, AIDS, leprosy.
• Orphan and destitute children or those living with their parents.
• Those children whose parents are mentally handicapped and are not capable of raising their children.

How to apply under Bihar Parvarish Yojana?

If you want to apply to get benefits under Bihar Parvarish Yojana, then you will have to apply through offline process. Because applications under Bihar Parvarish Yojana will be accepted through offline process only. The process to apply offline is given below, following which you can apply easily.

• First of all you have to go to your nearest Anganwadi center.
• By going there you will have to get Bihar Parvarish Yojana application form from Anganwadi Sevika.
• After receiving the application form, you will have to enter all the necessary information asked in it carefully.
• After entering all the information you will have to attach some documents with the application form.
• Now you will have to submit the application form along with all the documents to the nearest Anganwadi center Sevika.
• In case of HIV/AIDS, the applicant will have to submit the application form to the Child Development Project Officer.
• After this you will be given a receipt by the officer. Due to which you will have to keep it safe for future.
• You will be provided the benefit of the scheme once all the documents are verified.
