Karnataka Stree Samarthya Yojana 2024
Government of Karnataka is soon going to launch Stree Samarthya Yojana for empowerment of women and girls in the state. CM Basavaraj Bommai on 14 January 2023 said that the state govt. is formulating schemes in the coming state budget that will help women and also the working classes hit by the Covid-19 pandemic and floods. Financial assistance will be provided to a woman to run the house independently. Special programs will be given to run families. Along with the Stree Samarthya scheme and under the Stree Shakti scheme, the monetary help will be extended to run houses, covid treatment, and healthcare.

Chief Minister said “Firstly, the Karnataka state govt. will implement Stree Samarthya scheme 2023 and then will launch a program that will help women to run the family.” He mentioned that government is contemplating implementing public welfare schemes and helping the working class more. Besides, schemes for farmers, workers, women, SC/ST, and OBCs are also being planned.
According to CM Basavaraj Bommai “The budget session is likely to be held on 17 February 2023 for which preliminary meetings will be held. The state’s revenue has increased by three times as on December 2022, and instructions are given to increase it further by giving a revised target. The coming budget will be a populist budget and a special one in the wake of the coming Assembly polls”. This year’s budget would focus on farmers and poor people and decision of budget will be taken in meeting to be held on 17 January 2023.

Objectives of Karnataka Stree Samarthya Scheme
CM mentioned that Karnataka govt. will launch a new scheme for empowerment of women and girls. This will help women to tackle their day-to-day problems and enable them to lead their lives happily. The scheme will be titled Stree Samarthya Yojana (Women Empowerment Scheme), CM added.

Karnataka Stree Samarthya Scheme Registration Form
Stree Samarthya Yojana will be launched in February. So for the registration and application procedure, you have to wait for one month or less than 1 month. Chief Minister basavaraj Bommai release the notification that the applicant can apply then you will fill out the application form and submit it to the officials.
