Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana has been launched by the Mukhyamantri of Madhya Pradesh on 13 March 2021. The announcement of the launch of this scheme has been made at the inauguration ceremony of Nagrodaya Mission. Under the Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, loans will be provided to the youth of Madhya Pradesh to set up their own enterprise.

The guarantee of the loan provided under this scheme will be provided by the government to the bank. Which means that the beneficiary will not have to give any guarantee to the bank for availing the loan. A special feature of this scheme is that the Madhya Pradesh government will also provide interest subsidy on loans to the beneficiaries. Through MP Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, the citizens of the state will be able to establish their own self-employment.

Purpose of MP Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana
The main objective of the MP Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana is to encourage the citizens of the state for self-employment. Through this scheme, loans will be provided by the government to the citizens of the state without any guarantee. So that they can set up their own self-employment. Along with this, interest subsidy will also be provided by the government on the loan. Through this scheme, the unemployment rate of the state will come down and the citizens of the state will become self-reliant and empowered. Employment opportunities will increase in the state through this scheme. Due to which the unemployment rate of the state will also fall. All citizens have to apply to take advantage of this scheme.

Benefits and Features of MP Udyam Kranti Yojana
- This scheme has been started by the Mukhyamantri of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
- This scheme has been launched on 13 March 2021 at the inauguration ceremony of Nagrodaya Mission.
- During the announcement of the financial budget for 2021-22, the announcement was made to launch the Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana.
- Under this scheme, loans will be provided to the youth of Madhya Pradesh to set up their own enterprise.
- There is no need to give any kind of guarantee to the beneficiary on the loan available under this scheme.
- Along with this, interest subsidy will also be provided on the loan to the beneficiary under this scheme.
- Through this scheme the unemployment rate of the state will come down.
- The citizens of the state will be encouraged to establish self-employment through this scheme.

- Only unemployed citizens of the state can take advantage of this scheme.
- The amount of benefit under Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana will be directly transferred to the beneficiary’s account through Direct Benefit Transfer.
Provisions of MP Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana
- To get the benefit of this scheme, the applicant’s age should be between 18 to 40 years and the applicant should have passed the minimum 12th class.
- Apart from this, the annual income of the family should not exceed 12 lakhs.
- If the applicant’s family is an income tax payer, in this situation it is mandatory to have the income tax statement of the last 3 years along with the application.
- Only those applicants will be eligible to get the benefit of this scheme, who is not a defaulter of any bank or any financial institution and is getting the benefit of any other self-employment scheme of the state or central government.
- The moratorium period of this scheme will be 7 years.
- The loan account of the beneficiary will remain NPA during this period.
- No interest subsidy will be accepted for this.
- The amount of interest subsidy will be provided by the government on an annual basis.
- The guarantee fee of the scheme will be given at the prevailing rate with moratorium period up to a maximum of 7 years.
- The implementation of this scheme will be done by the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
- Apart from this, the implementation of this scheme will be done through the consolidated portal.

Eligibility of MP Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana
- Applicant should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- To get the benefit of this scheme, the minimum age has been fixed as 18 years and the maximum age is 40 years.
- Applicant should have passed minimum 12th class.
- To get the benefit of this scheme, the annual income of the applicant’s family should be ₹ 1200000 or less.
- In case the applicant is a tax payer, the Income Tax details of the last 3 years should have been submitted by the applicant along with the application.
- The benefit of this scheme will be provided only to the entrepreneurs setting up new ventures.
- Only those citizens can get the benefit of this scheme who is not a defaulter in any bank or any financial institution.
- The benefit of any other self-employment scheme of the Central or State Government is not being availed by the applicant.
