AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme 2024

The YSR Aarogyasri scheme was launched by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh state in the year of 2017 and since then the scheme has been providing financial funds to all of the people of the state, mainly those who are poor and are basically below the poverty line. Through the implementation of this scheme, many benefits have provided to all of the beneficiaries in Andhra Pradesh state. One of the main benefits of the scheme was the cashless treatment in most of the government hospitals of Andhra Pradesh state.

Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to rename NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme as Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Scheme. The decision has been made at Tadepalli Camp office that would help to offer health coverage to people belonging to the lower and middle strata of society. Apart from renaming the scheme name, some health care reforms were also discussed in the meeting. CM also wanted to know about the condition of healthcare infrastructure in different government hospitals throughout the state. By effective implementation of the renamed scheme, treatment money above rupees thousand would be given by state government.

Key features of YSR Aarogyasri Scheme

The AP YSR Aarogyasri Scheme would provide health facilities to people belonging to the lower and middle class of society. Universal health care cards would be applicable for an individual whose medical expense in over rupees 1000.
An individual with annual income is less than rupees 5 lakh can apply to get benefits under the scheme. However, the benefits would be given for free to individuals.
As per the scheme, rupee 2.50 lakhs would be spent for health care coverage per family on a yearly basis. However, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken up the charge of monitoring the scheme so that every needy family can avail its benefits.
CM of Andhra Pradesh has also increased the salary of ASHA or Accredited Social Health Activists from rupees 3000 to rupees 10000 in a month.

However, measures have also been taken as advised by Andhra Pradesh CM to reduce any kind of private partnership in the medical field. This would help in improving the condition of medical health in the state.

Objective Of YSR Aarogyasri Scheme

The main objective through the implementation of the YSR Arogyasri Scheme was to provide financial funds to all of the poor people of the Andhra Pradesh state who are not able to pay their Medical fees or are not able to undertake or under go surgeries that are essential for their healthy life. Through the implementation of this scheme, the death ratio in Andhra Pradesh will decline thoroughly. Many diseases have included under the scheme for the smooth functioning of the initiative.

Eligibility Criteria of the Scheme

The applicant must only have less than 35 acres of land, including wet and dry land.
The applicant must have municipal property tax-paying families for less than 3000 SFT (334 sq. Yds).
Outsourcing, contract, part-time employees and sanitation workers with an annual income of over Rs 5 lakh are also eligible.
The applicant can also be Honorary remuneration employees and private sector employees working in the public sector.
If the applicant has more than one car then they are not eligible for the scheme.
The Families filing income tax up to Rs 5 lakh are also eligible.

Documents required Of the Scheme

Income certificate – Individual has to produce their income certificate in order to get benefits from the scheme to assure that the annual income is less than rupees 5 lakh. If individuals have annual income more than rupees 5 lakh, they are not eligible to get healthcare facilities.
Identity proof – Individual have to submit Aadhaar card and other relevant identity proof related documentation to support the claim that they are permanent citizens of the state.
Medical certificate – Individual has to submit details of the medical certificate so that it becomes easy for the medical department to examine the medical expenses. The benefits would be given to the family whose medical expenses are more than rupees 1000.

On the homepage, you have to click on Downloads option
Now you have to click on YSR Aarogyasri Card.

After that, you have to fill all the required information in this form
Now you have to attach all the required documents
After that, you have to submit this form in the concerned department

List Of Delisted/Suspended/De-Empaneled Hospital

Go to the official website of the Aarogyasri scheme https://www.ysraarogyasri.ap.gov.in/
Now you are required to click on the Hospitals tab
After that, click on Delisted/Suspensed/De-Empaneled Hospitals
A new page will appear on your screen
On this new page, you can view the list of all the Delisted/Suspended and De-Empaneled hospitals.
