India where to buy rice?

To buy Bharat Rice, you can get it from your local central stores, physical and mobile outlets of National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Corporation (NAFED), and National Cooperative Consumers Corporation (NCCF).
Additionally, it can also be purchased at other retail outlets and e-commerce platforms.

Government’s commitment to farmers and consumers

Piyush Goyal stressed the government’s unwavering commitment to farmer welfare and consumer satisfaction. Through Indian rice, Indian flour, Indian pulses, and other initiatives, the government guarantees fair prices to farmers and consumers.

Price of grains under this scheme

Under Bharat Rice Scheme, rice is available in the retail market at subsidized prices. First Bharat Atta, Bharat Chana are also sold at discounted prices. Here we are sharing the price of grains under Bharat Scheme

Wheat flour price – Rs 27.7/kg
Price of rice- Rs 29/kg
Price of gram (gram) – Rs 70 per kilogram

Eligibility criteria

Bharat Rice Scheme is available to all residents of India who are economically unstable, poor or economically backward. The Government of India has not laid down eligibility criteria in Bharat Rice Scheme. All economically weaker citizens of India can apply for this scheme. But please note that this scheme is available only for the citizen of India.

Application Process of Bharat Rice Scheme

We would like to tell you that you can buy Bharat Rice, Bharat Flour and Bharat Chana directly from delivery vans, Kendriya Bhandar outlets, NAFED outlets and NCCF outlets. The government is also planning to launch Bharat Rice, Atta and Gram on multiple e-commerce platforms. So if you are poor and financially unstable then you can buy rice directly from the above mentioned shops or sources without applying.
