Mukhyamantri Sukhad Rahat Yojana has been started by the Government of Jharkhand to provide relief to the farmer families affected by drought. Under this scheme, an initial drought relief amount of Rs 3500 has been announced to the farmers. 30 lakh affected farmer families will be benefited through the Jharkhand Chief Minister Drukhar Rahat Yojana. According to the drought assessment report by the Agriculture Department, 226 blocks of 22 districts in the state are in the grip of drought. In view of the drought situation, this scheme has been started and soon this amount will be made available to the farmer families.

The mukhyamantri sukhad rahat yojana has been started by the Chief Minister of Jharkhand Mr. Hemant Soren. 226 blocks of 22 districts of the state (except East Singhbhum and Simdega) have been declared drought by the government on October 29. In view of the drought situation in the state, an amount of Rs.3500 will be provided to the farmer family in 226 blocks of 22 districts for immediate drought relief under the Mukhyamantri Sukhad Rahat Yojana. This amount will soon be made available to all the affected farmer families of these 226 blocks. Drought assessment According to the report by the Agriculture Department, 226 blocks of 22 districts in the state are in the grip of drought. In such a situation, it is the moral responsibility of the state government to immediately provide drought relief to the affected farmer families.
More than 30 lakh farmer families of Jharkhand are in the grip of drought. Who will get the benefit of this scheme. Farmers will get compensation through the mukhyamantri sukhad rahat yojana. Farmers can apply online to get benefits under this scheme. The disaster management authority will approve the application and send it to DBT.

Objective of Mukhyamantri Sukhad Rahat Yojana
The main objective of starting the mukhyamantri sukhad rahat yojana by the Chief Minister of Jharkhand Mr. Hemant Soren is to provide financial assistance to the farmer families of the state in case of crop loss. An amount of Rs 3500 will be provided to the farmers of the state for drought relief. Soon camps will be organized at village and panchayat level to distribute the initial relief amount to the affected farmers. Through this scheme, benefits will be provided to more than 30 lakh farmer families of the state. The state government has demanded financial help from the central government for the mukhyamantri sukhad rahat yojana. So that the farmers of the state can be benefited under this scheme.
Obligation of land possession certificate is over
Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh said that all officers should try to convert the sadness of the farmers of the state into an opportunity. Under the Chief Minister’s Drought Relief Scheme, the state government has submitted a memorandum of finance to the central government regarding financial assistance. And it is expected that in this hour of crisis, the central government will provide necessary cooperation. The Jharkhand government has demanded relief assistance of 9682 crores to the Center under the Memorandum of Finance. And said that every farmer family or agricultural laborer, all those who hold the ration card of the state will be given benefits under the Chief Minister’s Drought Relief Scheme.
Told the departmental secretary that the compulsion of land possession certificate should be removed from the documents which are uploaded for the Chief Minister Drought Relief Scheme. It should be ensured that every farmer whose name is registered in the ration card should be given the benefit of the mukhyamantri sukhad rahat yojana.
Benefits and features of Mukhyamantri Sukhad Rahat Yojana
- The Chief Minister Drought Relief Scheme has been started by the Chief Minister of Jharkhand Mr. Hemant Soren.
