MP Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana 2024

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan ji hoisted the flag at the national level Independence Day function organized at Nehru Stadium on 15 August 2022 and after that, in his speech addressing the general public, has announced to start Mukhymantri Jan Awas Yojana. Under this scheme, a piece of land will be provided to the homeless families living in rural and urban areas of the state and where necessary, housing will be provided to the poor by constructing high rise buildings.

The Chief Minister has said that the administration in the state has freed 21 thousand acres of land from the mafia, on which Suraj colonies will be established and housing will be provided to poor homeless families in those colonies. The benefit of MP CM Jan Awas Yojana will be given to those families of the state who are not eligible under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana but they need housing.

Purpose of Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana

The main objective of implementing this scheme by the Chief Minister is to provide a piece of land to all the families of the state so that everyone has land to live in Madhya Pradesh. MP CM Jan Awas Yojana will provide housing facility to lakhs of families of the state and will improve their economic condition. Through this scheme, either a piece of land will be provided to the eligible families or housing facility will be provided by constructing a high rise building. This scheme will be one of the most ambitious schemes so far launched by the state government. It is the resolve of the Madhya Pradesh government that no family on the soil of the state should remain without land and without a house. To fulfill this resolution, the Chief Minister Jan Awas Yojana is being started.

Benefits and Features of Mukhymantri Jan Awas Yojana MP

• Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced the launch of Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana in the celebration of National Level Independence Day organized at Nehru Stadium on 15th August.
• Through this scheme, housing facility will be provided to the homeless families of Madhya Pradesh by constructing a piece of house or a high rise building.
• But the benefit of Madhya Pradesh Mukhymantri Jan Awas Yojana will be given to those families who are not eligible to get housing facility under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
• The Chief Minister said that the administration in the state has freed 21 thousand acres of land from dabangs/mafias, on which now Suraj Colony will be established.

Eligibility under Chief Minister Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana

• It is mandatory for the applicant to be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• The same families of the state are eligible to apply under the MP CM Jan Awas Yojana which is not included to take benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
• Citizens of both rural and urban areas are eligible to submit their application under this scheme.
