On the occasion of Sant Ravidas Jayanti, Sant Ravidas Swarozgar Yojana has been launched by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Through this scheme, loans will be provided to the citizens of the state at low interest rates to establish self-employment. Loans ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh will be provided for the manufacturing unit. Loan guarantee will be taken by the government and 5% interest subsidy will be provided. Apart from this, a loan of up to Rs 25 lakh will be provided by the government for the service sector and retail trade. The guarantee of this loan will also be taken by the government and 5% interest subsidy will be provided.

The announcement to start this scheme was made by the Chief Minister through a virtual state level program. This scheme will prove to be effective in making the citizens of the state strong and self-reliant. Apart from this, the citizens of the state will get employment through this scheme. The standard of living of the citizens of the state will also improve through Sant Ravidas Swarojgar Yojana. This scheme will be operated by Scheduled Castes Finance Development Corporation.

Purpose of Sant Ravidas Swarojgar Scheme
The main objective of Sant Ravidas Swarojgar Yojana is to provide self-employment opportunities to the citizens of the state. So that no citizen of the state remains unemployed. Through this scheme loans will be made available to the citizens of the state. So that citizens can establish their self-employment. 5% interest will also be paid by the state government on this loan. This scheme will make the citizens of the state strong and self-reliant. Apart from this, the standard of living of the citizens of the state will also improve through this scheme. This scheme will reduce the unemployment rate and will promote the spirit of setting up an industry among the citizens.
