As you all know, crops are damaged due to stray animals. Many farmers of the state have complained about the damage to the farm due to these animals. Keeping this in mind, Rajasthan Tarbandi Yojana has been started by the Government of Rajasthan with the aim of benefiting the small and marginal farmers. Subsidy is provided by the government through this scheme for up to a maximum of 400 meters. Through this fencing, the field can be saved from stray animals. For which a budget of 3 lakh 96 thousand has been set by the government.
Through this scheme all those farmers will be able to put up barriers in their fields who were not able to put up barriers earlier due to financial problems. The government will provide financial assistance for the installation of the barrier. An amount of ₹ 48000 will be provided by the government to the marginal farmers for wirebandi and ₹ 40000 will be provided to other farmers. Geo-tagging will be mandatory after the work is completed. The amount of benefit will be directly transferred to the account of the farmers.

That is why most of the farmers put fencing around their fields. So that no stray animal can enter the farm. But not all farmers are able to do this due to paucity of money. That’s why the state government has started the Rajasthan Tarbandi Yojana. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to the farmers of Rajasthan to get the wires done around their fields. So that all the farmers can protect their fields by getting barbed wire. and to protect crops from damage caused by stray animals.
Benefits of Rajasthan Tarbandi Yojana

Eligibility of Rajasthan Tarbandi Scheme
- Under this scheme, farmers should be permanent residents of Rajasthan.
- For the benefit of this scheme, the farmer should have 0.5 hectare of cultivable land.
- The applicant should have a bank account because the amount given by the government will be directly transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account.
- If the amount is already received on your land under any other scheme then you are not eligible for this scheme.

Under this scheme, the interested beneficiaries of the state who want to apply under the Rajasthan Tarbandi Scheme will have to go to the official website of the Agriculture Department, Rajasthan.
