Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai government had promised farmers to purchase paddy at Rs 3100 per quintal under Krishak Unnati Yojana before the assembly elections, due to which Chhattisgarh government has announced to fulfill the promise of purchasing paddy in the month of March. Paddy bonus amounting to Rs 917 per quintal will be provided to the farmers by the state government on March 12. The money will be given to the farmers from whom paddy has been purchased on March 12. This money will be deposited in the bank accounts of the farmers.

This money provided to the farmers will be given as a bonus. Which is given to the farmers on the purchase of paddy at the Minimum Support Price i.e. MSP, but the amount of Rs 13,000 crore deposited in the accounts of 24 lakh farmers is in addition to the MSP i.e. bonus. The benefit of CG Paddy Bonus will be given to more than 24 lakh farmers as bonus on the purchase of paddy.

What is Chhattisgarh Krishak Unnati Yojana

Chhattisgarh Krishak Unnati Yojana has been launched by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai for the state farmers. Through this scheme, the government has promised to give the price of paddy to the farmers at Rs 3100 per quintal. Under Krishak Unnati Yojana, farmers of the state can sell their money to the government at a fair price. The difference amount of paddy will be given to the farmers as bonus under Krishak Unnati Yojana. This amount will be sent by the government to the bank accounts of the farmers. At present the price support price of paddy has been fixed at Rs 2183 per quintal and Rs 2203 per quintal. Whereas farmers will get paddy bonus amount of Rs 917 per quintal. In this way, by combining both the support price and the difference amount, farmers will get a price of Rs 3100 per quintal of paddy.

Eligibility for CG Paddy Bonus

• To avail the benefit of Chhattisgarh Paddy Bonus, the applicant must be a native of Chhattisgarh state.
• The benefit of this scheme will be given to the paddy purchasing farmers of Chhattisgarh state.
• The bank account of the applicant farmer should be linked to the Aadhar card.
• Only those farmers of the state from whom paddy has been purchased will get the benefit of Chhattisgarh Paddy Bonus.

Paddy bonus of Rs 917 per quintal will be available on March 12.

The promise made by the Chhattisgarh government to the farmers will be fulfilled on March 12. On this day, money will rain in the bank accounts of farmers. Paddy bonus of Rs 917 per quintal will be paid by the government to the farmers in their bank accounts for purchasing paddy. About 24 lakh farmers of the state were registered under Krishak Unnati Yojana. Under which paddy has been purchased at support price from 1 November 2023 to 4 February 2024. Let us tell you that bonus will be paid under this scheme only to the farmers selling paddy.
