Objective of Ladli Yojana Delhi

The main objective of Delhi Ladli Yojana is to improve the negative thinking about daughters. Through this scheme, financial assistance will be provided by the Delhi government from the birth of a daughter till she takes admission in her twelfth education. So that will also help them to get education. Through this scheme the dropout rate will come down and it will also help in preventing crime like feticide. Through Delhi Ladli Yojana, the girls of Delhi will become strong and self-reliant.

Implementation of Delhi Ladli Scheme

The financial arrangement for implementation under this scheme will be done through SBI Life Insurance Company Limited and State Bank of India. In SBI Life Insurance, this amount will remain till the girl child attains the age of 18 years and does not pass class 10th or takes admission in class 12th. Thereafter, the girl child can claim the maturity amount. The amount received under Delhi Ladli Yojana will be deposited in the form of fixed deposit. Which will be provided to the girl child at the time of maturity along with interest. The implementation of this scheme will be done by the Department of Women and Child Development and the Department of Education.

Maturity drug process under Delhi Ladli Scheme

• Under this scheme, if the girl child is 18 years old after passing class X, then she can claim the maturity amount.
• If the age of the girl child is not 18 years after passing class X, then she can claim maturity amount after passing class 12th.
• In order to claim the maturity amount, the girl child is required to have an acknowledgment letter from SBIL. It is also mandatory to have all other important documents along with the acknowledgment letter.
• The girl child has to submit the application along with the holy letter.
• It is mandatory for the girl child to have a zero balance account with the State Bank of India.
• This account can be opened by showing acknowledgment letter.
• After all this process, the benefit amount will be transferred to the unique ID number of the girl child which will be allotted by State Bank of India.

Eligibility for Delhi Ladli Scheme

• Applicant parents must be permanent residents of Delhi.
• It is mandatory for the girl child to be born in Delhi.
• The annual income of the girl child’s family should be ₹ 100000 or less.
• To get the benefit of this scheme, the girl child should be registered in the recognized school.
• Only 2 daughters of a family can avail the benefit of this scheme.

Delhi Ladli Yojana Documents

• Confirmation of stay in Delhi for 3 years (such as ration card, electricity, water bill etc.)
• Birth certificate of girl child, Aadhar card of both child and guardian
• Declaration of income of young women
• Family photo of baby young lady and candidate’s caste declaration
• The annual income of the family should be less than one lakh.
• Government recognition of the school the girl will attend should be sufficient. All the school information will have to be submitted to the parents of the student so that it can be known that the girl student is studying in the school.
• If there are two girls in the family, the benefit of this scheme will be available, otherwise it will not be available.
• The most important eligibility for this scheme is that it is very necessary for the girl to study in the school and also she should be within the limits of Delhi.
• The amount received under this scheme cannot be used for anything else by the student or her family. These money can only be used for education or setting up a small business.
• The girl and her family members can also use the money received through this scheme for vocational training.
• Under this scheme, scholarship will be provided in the bank account of the applicant, so the parents of the applicant are required to open an account in the bank of Delhi in the name of the applicant.

Procedure to apply under Delhi Ladli Scheme

For district office

• First of all you have to go to the official website of Department of Women and Child Development http://www.wcddel.in/index.html.

• Now the Ladli in-charge will get the form submitted to the principal of the school.
