Madhya Pradesh Government has released the list of district wise beneficiary farmers for the loan waiver of the farmer of the registration form filled under this Jai Kisan Fasal Loan Waiver Scheme by the state government on the MP Agriculture Portal. Benefits of Jai Kisan Crop Loan Waiver Scheme
- Under this scheme, the government can waive off bad loans and farmers with regular loans will be given an incentive of up to Rs 25,000.
- If a farmer has taken loan from more than one bank, then only the loan taken from cooperative bank under this scheme will be waived.
- Under this scheme, only the loan will be waived by the farmers for their farming.
- Under the MP Karj Mafi Scheme, farmers’ loans up to Rs 2 lakh will be waived.
- The benefit of this scheme will be given to the small and marginal farmers of Madhya Pradesh.
- Apart from this, the outstanding farmers of about 35 lakh farmers as of June 2009 will also get the benefit of this scheme.
- Under this Madhya Pradesh Jai Kisan Fasal Loan Waiver Scheme 2022, the loan of those farmers who had taken loan for equipment like tractor, well etc. will not be waived.
- Loan waiver will be taken only for those farmers who have done loan registration under National Bank, Cooperative Bank, or Regional Rural Bank. In this way, 41 lakh farmers in total have taken loan of about 56 thousand crores from the bank.
