Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana has been launched by the Madhya Pradesh government to help financially for the marriage of daughters of needy, destitute families, families coming below the poverty line of the state. Under this Madhya Pradesh Kanya Vivah Yojana, the state government will provide financial assistance of Rs.55 thousand for the marriage of daughters/widow women/divorced women of poor destitute, poor, needy families of the state. Under this scheme, the Madhya Pradesh government will also spend money on all the girls who get married.

To get financial assistance under this scheme, the age of the daughter should be 18 years or more at the time of marriage and the age of the boy with whom that girl is getting married should be 21 years or more. Only then he can take advantage of this scheme. The name of the girl applying under Kanya Vivah Yojana MP should be registered on the Samagra portal. Under this scheme, girls from all economically weaker families of Madhya Pradesh will be benefitted.

Purpose of Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana

The state government has started this Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana, under this scheme, providing financial assistance of 51 thousand rupees for the marriage of daughters and widows of poor families. Due to which financially weak families can marry their daughter well.

Government Fund

55000 rupees will be spent for the happy life of the newly married couple and the establishment of the household.
Under this scheme, 5000 rupees will be spent to buy the material used for the marriage ceremony of every girl.
3000 rupees per girl will be spent for the preparation of the program to the organization organizing the mass marriage program.
In this way, a total amount of Rs 55,000 will be provided by the Madhya Pradesh government.

Benefits of MP Kanya Vivah Yojana

The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the daughters of those families of the state who are living below the poverty line. Financial assistance will be given by the government in the marriage of the daughter of such family.
In the marriage of daughter of BPL family, the government will give a lump sum amount of Rs 5,000. This amount will be given in the name of the girl child through check or demand draft.
Under Madhya Pradesh Kanya Vivah Yojana, the state government will provide financial assistance of 55 thousand rupees for the marriage of daughters / widowed women / divorced women of poor destitute, poor, needy families of the state.
The amount given by the government under the MP Kanya Vivah Scheme will be transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries. Therefore the applicant should have a bank account and the bank account should be linked to the Aadhar card.

Eligibility of MP Kanya Vivah Scheme

Applicant should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
Under this scheme, the age of the girl at the time of marriage should not be less than 18 years and the age of the groom should not be less than 21 years.
An abandoned woman who is destitute and is not financially able to remarry herself. Apart from this, those who are legally divorced can also take advantage of this scheme.
Under Kanya Vivah Yojana MP, the girl’s name should be registered on the overall portal.

If you want to apply offline under MP Kanya Vivah Scheme, then you have to download the application form by visiting the official website. After downloading the application form, you have to fill all the information asked in the form. After this, you will have to attach all your documents with your application form and submit it to the Gram Panchayat / District Panchayat in your nearest rural area or to the Municipal Corporation / Municipality Municipal Council office in the urban area.
