PM Surya Ghar Yojana 2024

Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme is an initiative launched by the Government of India to encourage people to install solar power panels at home. Under this scheme, the government provides subsidy on solar energy panels, helping people save money on electricity bills.

Under PM Surya Ghar Yojana, the government provides up to 40% subsidy for installation of solar panels. The amount of subsidy depends on the size of the roof of your house and the capacity of the solar panels.

• To avail the benefits of Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, the applicant must be a citizen of India.
• To avail the benefits of this scheme, the annual income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 1.5 lakh.
• No member of the family of the person applying for Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme should be in a government job.
• The applicant must have his own house.
• There should be enough space in your house to install solar panels.
• All categories of people are eligible for the benefits of this scheme.
• The applicant’s Aadhaar card should be linked to his bank account.
